I visited this place e a few weeks ago and I was very impressed with the quality food and service. They made me felt as if the knew me and my dish was create with lots of herbs and spices. It took a while for my meal to be prepared, I completely understood why as it was being prepared from scratch. This is the main factor I will keep going here as most restaurants prepare food in bulk then just heat it up when you place the order why the sits in the freezer for the next t order to be place. They are also very friendly and clean wish makes the experience more enjoyable and memorable.

Delicious food, awesome service and overall an awesome experience. They have halal options , which is awesome!!! I had the jerk chicken which was cooked perfectly, it was so juicy and tender. The beef patty was also very, very good. I will definitely visit again.

I actually love their dishes and service, awesome location nearby to my house. The workers are always welcoming. Will come visit again.

This is unquestionably one of the best place in the region. Every time I come to this place I am extremely pleased. They hold their very high level service and the highest level of food they serve. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Very recommended.

Everything was delicious, though the price was a bit high. I've found this restaurant to be the best and I'll definitely be returning. Wonderful guys working there!

We drove 45 minutes to this place just to get some jamaican food and it was worth it

We chose this place and happy we did. The food is authentic, reminds me of Jamaica. Started off with tasty beef patties which had plenty of filling. You have a choice of small or large entrees. I had a small curry goat and my friend had the small oxtails. So delicious we both cleaned our plate, lol. For us it was just enough for lunch. Service was good and place clean. Worth the drive and street parking is free for 2 hrs.

Excellent! The customer service is friendly and top notch! The food is delicious!! I ordered the jerk shrimp and it had the slow simmered sauce with all those wonderful jamaican spices. If you love the heat, then this is perfect dish for you! My husband ordered the oxtail with buttered beans and sister in law ordered the stewed goat. All came with sweet fried plantains, beans and rice and sauted cabbage. All the sides were tasty and you can tell someone put love and passion into their food! Will recommend to everyone I know!

I have been craving a taste of Caribbean for some time.. Finally giving in, my family and I ventured down from Lake Bluff to Skokie to try this homey restaurant. We were greeted by V with warm smiles and pleasantries. Upon looking at the menu.. we knew we had to indulge in just about everything. We order a sample platter (Beef Patty, Ackee and Saltfish, Bbq Chicken etc.., full order of Oxtails and Curry Chicken plates. My husband, son and I attempted to conquer this massive amount of food but alas, we had to take home leftovers. Leftovers, I am munching on right now. NO I AM NOT SHARING!! THIS IS OUR new favorite restaurant.

Tasty. Jamaican food is spicy, but not too spicy here. Portions are adequate. Yum

Good food and great service! Well more like fantastic service. We walked in right around closing and put in a very large order. I've been in the food service industry and we learn to loathe the late comers, esp when they order alot. We were met with kindness and patience and so much great food. Love this place and would def return.

First of all the food is AMAZING! Perfect combination of spices, heat (aka pepper), and very well cooked. The staff was very friendly, several options on the menu (meats and veggies), great prices, and large portions.

This restaurant is my preferred one. I go to a lot of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The crew is very cordial and the cooking they place on your table is so delicious. I am always happy to have a decent dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.

We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we found this delicious place which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a lovely time there with delicious dishes and a nice stuff and a great chef. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall surely return soon. We deeply recommend.

Looks good,smells good but I got the small tray of curry goat and small tray of oxtails. Guess what total was OVER 30dollars and the portions as well as FLAVOR, majorly lacking. If I could have gave them no stars or negative I would have. Smh....Guess Jamaican food in Illinois ain't hitting on Nothing!!

Delicious soft & juicy baked chicken with a jerk sauce that will explode in your mouth with flavor. Comes with side of dirty rice, cabbage with carrots and plantain that compliments the flavor of the jerk chicken. Both the chef and his nephew are very friendly & helpful.We will definitely be back for more!

I’ve been here four times (takeout twice) and always been pleased with the food. Definitely try the appetizer puff type foods. They call them a beef patty or chicken patty, but they’re more of a pastry puff deal. The jerk chicken and the curry dishes were good as well. Last time I was there for lunch they only had beef patties ready to go, but they offered to make the other but we’re up front it would take half an hour. I went with the beef and wasn’t disappointed.
